JON'S MUDDLED MUSINGS
(RHYMELESS GARBAGE THAT SELLS)

           Jungle City


      An old lion
    with a white mane and a walking stick
      hobbles down the path,
    stoops slowly for yesterday's newspaper
      and ponders the For Sale sign 
    in his front yard.

     Across the way
   a young lioness with a briefcase
     kisses her pride good-bye,
   leaps into a sports car
     and hungerly roars away 
   into the morning sun.
